北市人工沙灘 下月起禁菸

北市市政大樓戲沙區周邊區域，下月起全面禁止吸菸。

北市禁菸場所再添一處。北市市政大樓戲沙區周邊區域下月1日起全面禁止吸菸，違規者可處2000元至1萬元罰鍰，這也是全台首座實施禁菸令的人工沙灘。

位在市政大樓東南側的人工沙灘，包含周邊松木地板、咖啡座、遮陽傘，占地約412平方公尺，造價100多萬元。97年至今，平均每年吸引上萬人到此「戲沙」。

不過，由於戲沙區周邊位子空曠，又設有咖啡座、遮陽傘，不少民眾常趁中午休息時間，到戲沙區旁坐著，一邊吞雲吐霧，一邊聊天，享受在101大樓旁喝飲料、曬太陽、玩沙的悠閒氣氛。

不過近來有許多家長反映，在戲沙區玩沙的幼童多，大人卻在一旁抽菸，菸味全飄到人工沙灘內，戲沙的孩子們立刻成為二手菸受害者，因此，考量到孩子的健康，建議列為禁菸區。

為改善二手菸害問題，衛生局近日決定將市政大樓戲沙區周邊區域列為全面禁菸區，12月正式禁菸，這也是全台唯一全面禁菸的人工沙灘。

衛生局表示，全市目前禁菸的場所，包括無菸公園33座、20處校園禁菸人行道，另外還有11處禁菸場館，如動物園、殯儀館等。

衛生局健康管理處長林莉茹表示，人工沙灘為戶外開放場所，未硬性規定要禁菸，由於市政大樓周邊仍設有專門吸菸區，她建議，習慣到人工沙灘抽菸的民眾，可以換個地方抽菸。
