【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】美國聯準會主席葉倫在眾議院發表證詞時表示，央行貨幣政策基本上不會出現重大調整，此聲明符合市場預期，周二美股連四日收高；投資人樂觀相信，最近這一波跌勢已經畫下句點。

周二收盤，道瓊工業股票平均價格指數上漲1.2%，至15994.77點，創下近兩個月最大單日漲幅。十大類股全面走高，由能源與醫療股領軍，標準普爾500指數上漲1.1%，至1819.75點；那斯達克綜合指數上漲1%，至4191.04點。

此外，美國眾議院共和黨領袖向歐巴馬總統的要求做出讓步，同意提出不附帶條件的提高債限法案，亦有助提振大盤士氣。
