台北市長郝龍斌接受媒體專訪時表示，「七合一選輸，馬主席應下台」，呼籲國民黨主席馬英九要為2014敗選負責。此番言論引發黨內高層不滿，今天在中山會報上多位副主席、黨務高層群起圍勦，批評郝龍斌親痛仇快，此話嚴重打擊士氣，「何況還是執政縣市首長」，發言令人錯愕、不滿。
