新竹縣一名剛滿18歲的廖姓男子，今天上午被發現倒臥在高中母校內一棟樓房旁，校方緊急送醫後，仍不治身亡。據了解，廖男疑有憂鬱症，近日出現情緒不穩狀況。校方原訂今天下午舉辦卒業式與晚會，也臨時因故取消，安排全校上千名學生，搭乘校車離開。據了解，廖男為應屆畢業生，今年初已透過繁星推薦，進入知名私立大學，也未參與指考，他學業成績表現佳，與班上同學也和平相處。今天上午，一名值夜校職員巡視校園時，發現廖男倒臥在電機房旁的地上，急忙送醫。警方研判，廖男應是爬上電機房五樓頂墜樓。
