吳經國疾呼 主辦奧運不容歧視

國際奧會（IOC）執行委員吳經國今天接受路透社訪問時表示，未來奧運主辦城市若是不理會奧會憲章，歧視任何特定族群，國際奧會應該讓奧運易地舉行。

吳經國是中華民國籍國際奧會委員，也是國際拳擊總會主席，他和另五位候選人角逐國際奧會主席一職，即將於下週投票。

俄羅斯2014年將在素溪（Sochi）舉辦冬季奧運，但因通過一項禁止宣揚同性戀的法律，遭指責打壓民權和歧視同性戀者，引起西方國家政府批評，甚至出現抵制素溪冬運的呼聲。

吳經國告訴路透社：「我希望見到獲得奧運主辦權的城市明確表態，不會有任何歧視，不論是基於種族、國籍或性取向。」

他又說：「我們得要預防這種事，因為如今我們突然得要找出這件事的解決辦法。」

吳經國表示：「未來若有任何人拒絕遵守（憲章），我們應該讓奧運易地舉行。」

針對俄國素溪冬運引發的爭議，來自台灣的吳經國說：「這回我們得要找到雙方都能接受的解決方法。但是我們不應該再讓這種事發生。」
