【大紀元2013年09月09日訊】(據台視新聞報導) 自閉症的成因可能有答案了！一項台灣學者參與的跨國研究顯示，每個人體內都有的一種蛋白質，如果它的結構遭到破壞，將會導致某些 和自閉症有關的基因，也連帶缺損，進而產生自閉症。

這也是全球首次發現自閉症，和蛋白質有關。由於目前自閉症無藥可醫，這項發現 將有助未來 研發新藥。

緊張焦慮，眼神不敢直視人，這是自閉症患者無法突破的心理障礙，但究竟是體內哪個關鍵的結構，出了問題亮起紅燈，現在終於找到答案，原來就是其中一種蛋白質被破壞。這回台灣學者參與跨國研究，也是全球首次揭開自閉症的成因，就在人體裡面的這種蛋白質，叫做拓撲異構，一旦被破壞，它就會不正常運作，讓大腦裡面的杏仁核這個警覺中樞，變得太大，甚至是一般人的四倍，結果不正常放電，引發自閉症，如今找到了自閉症缺損的蛋白質，未來將有藥可醫 對症下藥，比起心理治療更有效，對國內目前23萬名患者，這將是一線曙光。
