水母進擊 瑞典核廠關反應爐

受到大批水母入侵，瑞典奧斯卡港核電廠(Oskarshamn)日前被迫關閉電廠中的一個反應爐。這個反應爐是世界最大的沸水（boiling-water）式反應爐。

位於波羅地海沿岸的奧斯卡港核電廠，29日受到附近海域數以百計的海月水母侵襲。這些水母大軍湧進到海平面下60英尺的核電廠渦輪機的冷卻水管中，堵塞了整個冷卻管，迫使廠商關閉該廠內輸出功率達1400兆瓦(megawatt)的3號反應爐。

目前堵塞已清理完畢，該核電廠的發言人奧斯特伯格(Anders Osterberg)表示，工程師準備重新啟動反應爐，但未來會如何則不清楚，「我們希望已經解決了水母問題，但我們無法確定，因為這些水母隨時會回來。」

奧斯特伯格指出，這些水母僅進入到核電廠的冷卻管中，並未進到過濾器裡，距離反應爐也還有一大段距離，不會引發核災風險。

奧斯卡港核電廠的3個反應爐均為沸水式，與2011年發生災難的日本福島發電廠所使用的技術相同。

水母堵塞管道的情況近年來有增加的趨勢。2005年時，奧斯卡港核電廠曾因為類似情況，被迫關閉；美國加州的一所核電廠去年也因水母堵塞一個進水管，而關閉一個反應爐。

海洋生物學家表示，將來若有更多水母導致核電廠關閉反應爐事件，他們不會感到意外。海月水母（moon jellyfish）是一種常見的水母，可能在過度捕撈或條件惡劣的水域中大量湧現。
