就快退休了 喪命司機來不及享清福

莒光號司機員余添盛，行進中突然從駕駛室跌落車外身亡，56歲的余添盛，從基層做起，在台鐵已經服務超過37年，個性豪爽，為人熱心，很樂意提攜後進，教導實習生，鄰居聽到消息，都非常震驚，表示之前曾聽余添盛說，年紀大了快要60歲，已經準備要退休，沒想到竟發生意外。

56歲的余添盛臉書上的照片都是他最愛的火車照片，愛爬山愛運動的他到處旅遊，留下不少照片，他從基層做起進入台鐵服務已經37年，原本已經準備要退休，沒想到卻發生意外。位於台中東勢的家大門深鎖，鄰居都說余添盛為人熱心開朗，還曾獲頒許多熱心公益獎狀台鐵同事說，他像個大哥熱心照顧後進晚輩。

於添盛服務台鐵37年，遇到突發狀況順利幫乘客化解危險，十一年前他從彰化開電聯車，列車經彰化花壇段的時候，發現前方有人員施工眼見火車就要高速撞上，他緊急煞車雖然先後撞上二輛挖土機列車出軌，不過即時減速保護了車上乘客無人傷亡，沒想到開了三四十年的火車，最後卻喪命在自己最愛的工作崗位上。
