英政府查證是否英國人在菲風災失蹤

英國外交部表示，正查證是否有一名英國人及他的家人，在菲律賓風災後失蹤的報導。

英國媒體報導，61歲的布里奇，和菲律賓籍的女朋友，以及他們3歲的女兒，前往當地探親後失去聯絡，據報他們租住重災區塔克洛班附近一間沙灘屋，但房屋在風災中摧毀。

風災的最新官方死亡數字增加到3621人死亡。

但聯合國說，菲方向他們匯報的死亡人數達到4460人。兩者都高於菲律賓總統艾奎諾之前說，預計風災死亡人數介於2000到2500人。

一名警官之前對外表示：可能有上萬人在風災中喪生，這名警官已經被解除職務。
