雅門宣誓就職馬爾代夫總統

馬爾地夫新總統雅門宣誓就職。他在就職演說上承諾與鄰近國家保持良好關係，致力維持馬爾代夫安全及發展國家。

聯合國秘書長潘基文表示歡迎馬爾地夫選出新總統。他期望新政府以建設性態度接納反對派。較早前，經過第二輪投票後，進步黨的亞明以得票率五成一，擊敗前總統納希德，當選馬爾地夫總統。
