必和必拓本年度資本支出 削減25%

礦業巨擘必和必拓（BHP Billiton）執行長馬肯希（Andrew Mackenzie）表示，本會計年度的資本支出將減少25%，而為了更有效運用資金，今後幾年可能還會繼續縮減支出。

馬肯希10日說，到明年6月底為止的本年度，資本支出將從上年度的217億美元減少到162億美元；他說，保持在150億美元左右的水準，「我非常有自信能讓公司成長，並回饋適當的現金給股東。」但他也說產能會達成目標，預估未來兩年成長率可達16%。

另一家大型礦業公司力拓（Rio Tinto）日前也宣布，打算大砍2015年的資本支出預算，從去年的170億美元銳減至80億美元。執行長威爾許（Sam Walsh）暗示，80億至100億美元是公司維持長久營運的適當水準。
