中華電信董事長李炎松確定明年1月6日退休，職缺將由台積電固態照明及太陽能公司董事長蔡力行空降接班，跌破市場眼鏡，行政院已核定此人事案。

任職中華電39年的李炎松，將在65歲屆齡退休，接手的蔡力行為電信業門外漢，是康乃爾大學材料工程博士，曾在2005年接替張忠謀，出任台積電總經理暨總執行長。政府高層屬意他接手中華電，應是要借重其國際化管理的經驗，增強中華電信競爭力，迎接即將到來的4G挑戰。
