本季曾經絕殺熱火的塞爾提克，今日客場再度挑戰熱火，雖然第四節一度取得2分超前，不過熱火徹底執行球給詹姆斯(LeBron James)的戰術下，最終熱火93:86獲勝，報了一箭之仇。

美國時間11月9日，在熱火主場對戰賽爾提克，熱火離終場3秒還以4分落後，但華勒斯(Gerald Wallace)上籃得手，熱火韋德(Dwyane Wade)2罰不進，在僅剩0.6秒的情況下，格林(Jeff Green)三分絕殺熱火，讓熱火吞下難堪的一敗。

今日熱火首節團隊攻勢打得極為順暢，單節攻下29分，反觀賽爾提克上半場受制於熱火防守，手腳施展不開上半場結束40:51落後。

賽爾提克在第三節展開反攻，薩林格(Jared Sullinger)、亨弗瑞斯(Kris Humphries)兩人聯手扛起反攻大旗，單節取得27:20的領先，也將落後差距縮小到4分差。

進入決戰第四節，雙方都在3分差來回差距，比賽剩下5分24秒時，亨弗瑞斯的灌籃讓兩隊平手，之後決戰三分鐘時，亨弗瑞斯再度灌籃幫助塞爾提克取得2分領先，落後的熱火眼見情勢不妙，徹底執行球給LeBron的戰術，詹姆斯在最後2分半內連飆7分，加上塞爾提克命中率下降，終場熱火主場扳回顏面。

熱火得分最高為詹姆斯攻下29分、8籃板，塞爾提克亨弗瑞斯14分、13籃板，上次演出絕殺的格林命中率不佳，僅攻下12分。
