美國最高法院二日以五票贊成，四票反對，裁決個人政治捐款上限法令無效。

根據裁定，個人捐款給候選人、政黨與政治團體，不須遵守12萬3200美元（約台幣370萬元）上限。不過，捐給單一候選人的上限2600 美元（約8萬元）維持不變。
