遠東航空在日前開闢台中－金門、台中－馬公航線後，17日再開拓台中的國際航線版圖，從石家莊、太原兩地開闢定期航班直飛台中。

遠航表示，現在飛航的松山－太原、桃園－石家莊兩條航線，每個航班旅客都相當多，不管是陸客或是往來兩岸的台灣旅客，對於這兩個航點的飛航需求可以說是大幅增加。

為服務眾多兩岸旅客的需求，評估後以台中為圓心納入石家莊、太原這兩個航點。遠航自4月17、18日起，未來每周四、日由台中出發前往石家莊，每周二、五台中出發前往太原。
