工研院日商開發觸控面板製程有成

（中央社記者張建中台北2014年8月26日電）工研院下午與日商小森機械(Komori)，聯合發表單一步驟(onestep)量產型卷對卷金屬網格觸控面板製程技術研發成果，將有助觸控面板廠降低成本，提升競爭力。

工研院電子與光電研究所所長劉軍廷表示，小森機械是印刷機領導廠，去年工研院即與小森合作，結合工研院的軟性電子製程、材料及模組整合能力，與小森的機台製造能力及精細印刷技術，成功開發窄邊框薄型觸控模組。

劉軍廷指出，目前市面上的手機、平板電腦觸控面板多使用氧化銦錫(ITO)薄膜，但ITO有成本高及不易回收等問題，產業界正積極尋求替代方案。

工研院成功開發金屬網格取代ITO，並和小森合作，採用全印刷方式，僅須1道步驟便可同時印刷金屬導線與金屬網格，目前在良率及生產速率等都已逼近量產規格。

劉軍廷說，這一研發成果是中大尺吋觸控面板薄膜製程一大突破，透過關鍵製程創新，可大幅簡化材料與設備投資，節省約1/3成本，將有助觸控面板廠提升國際競爭力。
