稍早於中國市場宣布推出搭載1300萬畫素主相機設計的HTC One (M8 EYE)之後，HTC或許也將推出新款HTC One (E8 EYE)，但還不確定是否比照Desire EYE採取前後雙1300萬畫素相機設計，或將採用其他影像應用硬體設計。

根據印尼Zauba進出口網站資料顯示，HTC將可能再度推出新款HTC One (E8 EYE)，但不確定是否將比照Desire EYE採取前後雙1300萬畫素相機設計，或將採用其他影像應用硬體設計。此外，目前也無法確定是否將於台灣市場推出此款新機。

在紐約新機發表活動推出HTC Desire EYE之後，HTC很快地也在中國市場宣布搭載1300萬畫素主相機設計的HTC One (M8 EYE)上市消息，似乎將藉此改善過往UltraPixel攝影鏡頭僅為408萬畫素設計的缺點。

而此次選擇於印尼等地區推出新款HTC One (E8 EYE)，或許將以Eye Experience體驗再次搶攻市場。
