Google砸351億租NASA機場發展航太業

Google近年來一直「越界」，拓展事業到其他領域。最近，又傳出Google砸11.6億美元（約351億台幣）重金，向美國太空總署（NASA）租用莫菲特機場（Moffett Field） 60年，來研究及發展太空探索業務。

根據NASA最近一份聲明，Google旗下公司「Planetary Ventures」花了11.6億美元巨資租用位於加州矽谷的莫菲特機場，以進行太空探索、民航、機器人和其他科技項目的研究和發展。該機場面積約405公頃，距離Google總部僅10分鐘車程。據悉，Google目前已拿來當作高層人員的機場，還會再花2億美元升級機庫。

東網報導，該機場之前一直由NASA營運，出租後可望為NASA每年節省630萬美元。
