【大紀元2013年09月15日訊】(大紀元記者周恆英國報導)近日，《美食指南》（Good Food Guide）公佈了2014年英國十佳餐館的名單。大湖區卡特梅爾（Cartmel）一家名為「砧」（L'Enclume）的餐館被評為第一，擠下了連續七年奪冠的「肥鴨」（The Fat Duck）。

這是「砧」首次被評為英國最佳餐館。《美食指南》派出的暗訪人士對餐館進行評比，結果「砧」和「肥鴨」在烹飪方面同樣獲得滿分十分。雜誌的顧問編輯表示，「砧」的大廚把當地應季的土產和海鮮豐富的結合，充分顯示出了英國食品的多樣性。

「砧」的大廚表示，這個稱號是他一直夢寐以求的。他說：「我們欣然接受這個嘉獎，因為我們把重點放在食品和顧客身上，食物在廚房裡保持自然新鮮，餐廳內的服務友好而且專業。」

自從2007年起，「肥鴨」一直是《美食指南》評比中的第一，今年退居第二。「砧」在去年名列第二。總體上，去年前十名的餐館今年也同樣都進入了前十名，但是順序稍有變化。
