天兔颱風侵襲菲律賓、台灣、中國和越南，至少造成78人死亡。

天兔日前侵襲菲律賓後，擦過台灣南端，前往香港和福建，也侵襲越南。根據初步統計，天兔颱風在菲律賓造成27人死亡，在廣東福建造成27人死亡，在越南造成24人死亡6人失蹤，這幾個地方總共78人死亡。

天兔颱風給這些地區帶來狂風暴雨，引發水災跟土石流。在大陸廣東，就有47萬人撤離家園，在大陸福建、湖南和江西，有12萬人被迫撤離家園。
