為降價 平板電腦轉用低價面板

（中央社記者潘智義台北2013年12月9日電）研調機構WitsView表示，高解析平板電腦的核心來自於面板，超過300每吋畫素（PPI）的面板存在產能、良率、成本問題；品牌商只好採用低價零組件，降低產品售價。

WitsView指出，今年下半年第2代Google Nexus 7平板電腦上市，雖擁有超過300PPI的高解析度，但售價偏高，直接反映在清淡的銷售成績上，凸顯消費者對價格的敏感度勝於規格的要求。因此，對2014年高解析度平板電腦銷售動能看法保守。

當硬體差異化不易執行，刺激銷售的最佳手段回到降價身上。今年黑色星期五惠普（HP）推出售價僅89美元的7吋平板電腦，將品牌廠的低價平板價格壓低至100美元以下。

WitsView分析，為減輕成本負擔，品牌商勢必評估單價更低的零組件，包括今年上半年曇花一現的TN型廣視角面板，以及白牌廠商大規模採用的單層氧化銦錫（ITO）觸控模組，都將成為2014年品牌商降價換取銷量的籌碼。
