卸任立委選嘉義？許忠信開道歉記者會

因台聯規定不分區立委每兩年換一次，即將卸下不分區立委的台聯立委許忠信將轉進參選嘉義市長？許忠信今天表示，有長輩鼓勵且熱心協助尋求地方仕紳支持，盼他參選嘉義市長，他滿懷感激，但綠營須協調共推一人，除非是「非忠信不能勝選」，他才會考慮參選，下一步他也將回到校園教書、寫書。

許忠信今天也舉行「道歉記者會」說，兩年來他盡力做到一屆立委四年的工作，他所提案並經三讀通過的法案共8個，另在預算案上，102年國營事業年終獎金約減200億元、103年度睦鄰經費減了3億元等，但因國家現在仍是「百廢待舉」，他不敢自滿，也因為他任期已到，無法繼續為大家服務，要向國人說對不起。
