防肥胖 醫師籲推減重教育

（中央社記者陳偉婷台北2014年2月23日電）肥胖症專科醫師劉伯恩今天說，7成民眾對食物熱量缺乏認知，且多採用不健康減重法，盼政府重視減重教育。

台灣肥胖症衛教防治學會上午在立法院舉辦成立大會，並由中國國民黨籍立法委員廖國棟擔任理事長。他呼籲，肥胖已是全球性問題，政府應正視民眾肥胖問題，可將肥胖問題納入教學，並推動減重生活化。

與會的馬偕紀念醫院董事、肥胖症專科醫師劉伯恩表示，在臨床門診中，發現高達70%民眾缺乏對食物熱量認知，也不清楚運動能消耗多少熱量；且減重民眾中有75%是為了美觀，不正確的減重方式更磨損健康。

他說，台灣肥胖症衛教防治學會成立的目的是推廣正確減重的衛教觀念，政府也應致力讓正確觀念向下扎根，並注意藍領、偏鄉肥胖問題，消除城鄉營養、減重資訊不對等狀況。
