（中央社台北2014年3月1日電）中華民國駐瓜地馬拉大使孫大成與華碩文教基金會代表暨瓜地馬拉中華商會會長趙國良，2月28日（當地時間）捐贈當地中小學華碩筆電，捐贈儀式出席者踴躍，氣氛熱絡。

孫大成與趙國良到奇馬特南戈（Chimaltenango）省Santa Apolonia及Panabajal等馬雅村落2所中、小學，共同主持華碩數位學習教室捐贈儀式。

孫大成表示，設立華碩電腦數位學習教室，並深入偏遠落後地區，有助於縮短城鄉數位落差

趙國良指出，瓜地馬拉是一個悠久文化的國家，透過華碩電腦數位學習教室將有助於提升學生科技技能，成為國家發展資產。

學生代表感謝捐贈，並允將善用電腦設備。

捐贈儀式簡單隆重，並依當地習慣施放鞭炮及馬雅傳統舞蹈慶祝，宛如一場嘉年華會。
