路透26日報導，以美國為首的40多個主要西方國家26日譴責俄羅斯吞併克里米亞，並對克島少數韃靼族裔、失蹤社運人士及失蹤記者的命運表示關切。

這些國家另向聯合國人權委員會提交聯合聲明，呼籲俄羅斯允許國際觀察員進入烏克蘭，「包括克里米亞」調查。俄國日前同意讓歐洲安全及合作組織（OSCE）國際觀察員進入烏克蘭勘查6個月，但不包括克島。
