谷歌改政策 不再偷看信箱

（中央社舊金山30日綜合外電報導）搜尋引擎巨擘「谷歌」（Google）將改變作法，不再利用以「教育App」蒐集的個資來販售廣告。

美聯社報導，谷歌今天宣布的這些改變，修訂了他們為學校量身訂做「教育App」的部分政策。

谷歌過去透過掃描「教育App」寄發的郵件探尋學生興趣，更了解要對學生顯示何種廣告，不過谷歌表示，以後不會再這麼做。

學校管理員向使用「教育App」的學生發布Gmail廣告的選項，谷歌也將刪除。除非管理員變更設定，位於加州山景市（Mountain View）的谷歌過去會自動擋下這類廣告。

有超過3000萬名學生、教師與管理員使用「教育App」套組。（譯者：中央社鄭詩韻）1030501
