日本「痛苦指數」 創33年新高

日本4月1日起提高消費稅率後，導致4月食品價格漲幅創23年來最大，並使日本的「痛苦指數」升抵1981年來最高水準，經通膨調整後的實質工資也出現4年多來最大降幅。部分高齡者更被迫將肉類消費量減半，多吃蔬菜。

4月食品價格比一年前提高5%，生鮮食品更大漲10%，例如洋蔥大漲37%，鮭魚上漲30%。東京商店進口牛肉價格由1年前的每100公克187日圓，上漲到230日圓。溫室蔬果也因能源成本上升使價格大漲。瑞穗銀行首席市場經濟學者上野並預估，5月通膨可能加速上升。

摩根大通經濟學者足利正道指出，「物價上漲，但民眾對薪資上升缺乏信心，將會傷害消費支出。安倍首相必須設法使民眾相信經濟將會好轉。」
