老人是負擔？ 逾八成年輕人不認同

國民健康署上午公布「健康行為危險因子監測調查」，發現僅14%年輕人認為老人是「家人或社會的負擔」，但65歲以上長輩，約5成覺得自己是家人負擔。年輕人對長輩的多持正向看法，反而是長者對自己的感覺較負面。

該項調查電訪2萬4624名15歲以上民眾對於老年人的看法，結果有33.7%同意老人是「體弱多病」，但有78.8%認同老人「有解決問題的能力」。國民健康署署長邱淑媞指出，這項研究打破傳統對老年人的刻板印象。

根據調查，在「體弱多病」、「有解決問題的能力」、「家人或社會的負擔」及「沒有工作能力」等項目，長者看法似乎較悲觀，且以自覺健康狀況「不好」的老人，對老化的態度最負面，52.7認為自己是家人的負擔，58%自認沒有工作能力，高達75.3%同意老人「體弱多病」。

邱淑媞上午也宣布今年「阿公阿嬤活力秀」競賽活動開跑，希望長輩們踴躍報名。
