捍衛聯繫匯率 港買進13億美元

（中央社台北2014年7月11日電）彭博報導，隨著併購活動帶動港元需求，香港金管局本週買進13.3億美元，捍衛已有31年歷史的聯繫匯率制度。

香港金管局7月1日買進美元，為2012年12月以來首見。金管局表示，港元需求「近來攀升」，部分是因為併購和派息在內的商業活動。金管局今天表示，除了上週聲明外，沒有進一步評論。

香港在1983年開始實施聯繫匯率，當時中英間有關香港主權回歸的談判引發資本外流。2005年推出7.75港元的強方兌換保證和7.85港元的弱方兌換保證。台北時間上午9時53分，港元兌美元報7.7500港元兌1美元。

中國大陸交通銀行香港分行策略師何文俊表示，「港元因併購活動的技術性因素走堅。」「我們沒看到強勁的資金流入香港市場，也沒看到銀行體系的流動性緊俏。」（譯者：中央社劉淑琴）
