美最高將領：IS不久將成美歐威脅

法新社報導，美國參謀首長聯席會議主席鄧普西的發言人湯瑪斯上校26日表示，鄧普西認為伊斯蘭國（IS）的極端分子，「不久」將對美國與歐洲構成威脅，因此國際合組聯盟將有其必要，以對抗IS。

湯瑪斯說，美國指揮官正為各種可能的「選擇」預作準備，以打擊伊拉克與敘利亞的聖戰士。

美國國防部長海格上周在國防部舉行記者會，以更尖銳的語氣，表示IS 已是嚴重威脅，且危險程度已超越「凱達」恐怖組織。

湯瑪斯堅稱鄧普西與海格對IS的觀點一致。
