與小威爭冠 丹麥甜心擱私誼

（路透紐約7日電）對女網名將小威廉絲（Serena Williams）和瓦芝妮雅琪（Caroline Wozniacki）而言，兩人雖然私誼甚篤，但上場仍得公事公辦，而遇上大滿貫賽決賽這等場面更是得公而忘私。

她們兩人今夏稍早曾在邁阿密一起度假，但今天將爭奪美國公開賽后座，只是動機大有不同。

對世界排名第一的小威廉絲而言，若贏球將第18次在大滿貫賽奪冠，趕上前輩艾芙特（Chris Evert）與娜拉提洛娃（Martina Navratilova），並列歷來奪冠排行榜首位。

也曾是世界球后的瓦芝妮雅琪則希望能首嘗大滿貫賽封后滋味，完成看似不可能的東山再起之旅 。她以往11度參加大滿貫賽，只有一次打進八強賽。中央社（翻譯）
