大陸交通部網站公告，「十一」黃金周假期是旅遊、休閒、探親的高峰期，根據國務院有關規定，今年「十一」將繼續實行小型客車免收通行費政策，實施具體時間為10月1日零時至10月7日24時。

大陸交通部預計，「十一」黃金周期間，道路、水路客運量將比去年有所增加，道路客運量預計將達到6.3億人次、日均9,000萬人次，與去年同期相比預計增長5%；水路客運量預計將達到1,400萬人次，比去年增長2%左右，陸島、海峽間的旅客運輸仍將是熱點。

今年「十一」黃金周期間的客流特點主要有以下幾個方面：第一，自駕車出遊的車輛將會增加。特別是大城市進出城路段、熱點景區周邊公路的車流量都將會有大幅上升；島嶼、海峽間的客運運輸也將繼續增長。

第二是道路客運將以中短途為主，主要為城鄉旅遊、休閒探親的客流，道路客運還同時承擔著鐵路、民航的集疏運功能；第三，預計客流高峰出現在一頭一尾，也就是10月1日國慶日的第一天假期和10月7日假期的最後一天。
