臉書完成 WhatsApp收購

臉書完成對WhatApp的收購，代價從年初雙方談妥交易時的190億美元，增加到220億，這是臉書股票上漲的後果，因為這樁買賣涵蓋現金與股票。

WhatsApp的共同創辦人兼CEO今天加入臉書董事會，臉書與WhatsApp從此成為一家人，這是臉書最大手筆的併購行動，Google、微軟以及蘋果都瞠乎其後。

臉書是今年二月19號宣佈與WhatsApp談妥收購，雖然大家都能瞭解它把一個強大的競爭對手納入麾下的想法，但是在價碼上，臉書的豪邁，還是令人驚訝，以星期一的股票收盤價計算，這樁交易價值達到218億美元。

WhatsApp這些年成長很快，特別是在巴西、印度、墨西哥以及俄羅斯等開發中國家，它在全球已經有超過五億使用者。未來臉書打算讓WhatsApp服務系統繼續獨立運作。
