寬鬆政策 聯準會主席提名人葉倫續挺

美國參院銀行委員會14日舉行聯準會主席提名人葉倫的任命聽證會，葉倫在會前公布的三頁書面證詞中表示，美國經濟雖已從1930年代以來最嚴重的衰退中恢復，但7.3%的失業率仍太高，代表勞動市場與經濟表現仍遠低於應有的水準，聯準會仍在為加速經濟復甦努力。

葉倫說，美國經濟已從衰退中逐步復甦，但仍遠低於金融危機發生前水準，聯準會還有很多工作要做。她說：「由於這些原因，聯準會將繼續利用貨幣工具促使經濟更強勁的復甦。」

葉倫沒有暗示她將偏離現任主席柏南克維持低利率的政策。聯準會將在12月17日召開今年最後一次利率決策會議，經濟學家認為，聯準會明年3月才會減少債券購買金額。

葉倫指出，經濟復甦的強度要達到足夠的力道，聯準會才會採取「正常化」政策，包括每月購買債券規模減碼。聯準會目前每月購買850億美元債券券以壓低利率。

一般預料，葉倫應可順利通過任命聽證，接替明年1月31日卸任的柏南克。
