〔特派記者林宗偉／美國洛杉磯報導〕湖人熱身賽苦吞3連敗，更令人訝異的是，上一個投進三分球的選手，竟是因踝傷缺席前2役的林書豪，而13日那一場對勇士比賽，豪小子也是全隊唯一在外線出手命中的球員。

「三分球可以帶你進季後賽，但它無法幫你拿下總冠軍。」史考特一語道出自己的執教哲學，只是湖人前兩場外線出手加起來僅8次，不到對手的三分之一，命中率是可憐的0％。

缺少火力支援，前役狂砍27分也無法力挽狂瀾的布萊恩認為，現在要評估紫金軍團的戰力還為之過早，不過他仍感嘆：「希望大夥兒快點重回戰場吧！」

史考特則表示，缺乏外線攻擊與球隊射手都因傷高掛免戰牌有關，當全員健康時，他希望場均三分球出手可提升到12至15次，他無奈地說：「不幸中的大幸是，在熱身賽結束前，林書豪、希爾等人都會恢復健康，屆時將有完整陣容。」
