　　Activision 與 Bungie 於 2013 年 12 月 7 日舉辦的遊戲展「VGX 2013」中宣佈，目前開發中的 PS3／PS4／Xbox 360／Xbox One 版 FPS 科幻動作遊戲《Destiny》北美地區上市日期確定為 2014 年 9 月 9 日，官網也已針對北美及歐洲釋出相關訊息，預購特典為β測試資格。本作描述一群獲得特殊能力的地球人努力對抗侵略太陽系外星人集團的故事，玩家與夥伴們一邊在地球、月球及火星等行星及衛星間自由旅行，一邊執行各種任務的遊戲系統，是一款結合了 MMORPG 及 Co-op 專用 FPS 的遊戲。

　　本作故事以 7 百年後的太陽系為舞台，描述藉由殖民太陽系技術而開始發展文明的人類，突然遭到外星人大舉入侵而崩毁，除了地球僅存的都市外其餘全部淪陷。藉由神秘超高度生命體「旅行者」（トラベラー）的守護，並協助人們組成一支超級戰士部隊「守護者」（ガーディアン／Guardian），與外星人展開攸關人類生死存亡的戰爭。
