漢堡王買甜甜圈 巴菲特擬資助

美國速食連鎖業者漢堡王（Burger King）證實與加拿大咖啡甜甜圈業者Tim Hortons洽談併購事宜後，消息人士透露「股神」巴菲特也將投資，提供漢堡王進行併購時所需的部分資金，這樁交易因而更受矚目。

華爾街日報引述消息來源報導，巴菲特將以買進優先股的方式投資，提供這件交易所需融資的25%。這件交易總規模可能超過100億美元，最快這兩天就會定案。

這也可能是巴菲特第二度和漢堡王的控股股東3G資本公司合作。巴菲特和3G資本2013年時共同以230億美元買下番茄醬製造商亨氏公司（H. J. Heinz）。巴菲特也是買進亨氏80億美元的優先股，年息高達9%。巴菲特執掌的波克夏公司也以超過40億美元的價格買進亨氏半數普通股，3G則拿到亨氏的營運權。

漢堡王和Tim Hortons的股價，25日收盤時都大漲近20%。
