通過認證 宏達電傳重返平板

（中央社記者江明晏台北2014年8月27日電）睽違多年，宏達電 (2498) 可能將重返平板市場，外電報導指出，宏達電平板「HTC Flounder」已通過Wi-Fi聯盟認證(Wi-Fi Alliance)，代表問世時間不遠了。

市場傳聞多時，宏達電今年秋季將攜手Google推出Nexus系列平板電腦，搭載Google最新行動作業系統「Android L」，由宏達電製造代工，對此宏達電僅低調回應不予評論，並表示會在適當時機推出適當產品。

宏達電自從在2011年推出Flyer、Jetstream平板系列後，均專注於智慧機市場，已有多年未推出新的平板電腦。

外電指出，有一款平板「HTC Flounder」近期已通過Wi-Fi聯盟認證(Wi-Fi Alliance)，申請廠商為宏達電，產品型號「0P8210000」，但這款平板是不是Nexus系列？還未知，但可確定的是，宏達電今年將重返平板市場。

「HTC Flounder」認證類別屬於「平板電腦 (Fi和其他) 」，換言之，該產品支援的無線網路技術，將不只包括Wi-Fi，很可能也支援4G LTE。
