專家表示，現在想植鬍子的英國男性大增，是五年前的六倍。在1996年完成全球首次植鬍手術的法卓醫師說，絡腮鬍是一種男性象徵，而且鬍子可以配合流行趨勢改變。過去一年到法卓醫師的美容診所要求植鬍或讓鬍子更茂密的男性顯著增加。
