南韓向菲提供最多500萬美元援助

颱風「海燕」給菲律賓造成重大傷亡和損失，韓國政府計畫向菲律賓提供三百至五百萬美元的人道主義緊急救災援助。

南韓國會外交統一委員會委員長安鴻俊說，南韓政府將召開會議，商定具體的援助規模和援助方式。南韓也組成緊急應對小組，於今天抵達受災最嚴重的塔克洛班地區，調查南韓僑民和遊客的受災情況以及當地的供水、供電情況。

據南韓駐菲律賓大使館最新消息，此前有三十三名韓國人失去聯繫，後來使館聯繫到其中的二十三人，目前仍有十名韓國人失蹤。菲律賓當地媒體報導，因受到超強颱風海燕的襲擊，菲律賓約有一萬兩千餘人死亡或失蹤。另據當地消息人士透露，死者中有百分之四十是兒童。（王長偉 首爾報導）
