卡達半島電視台報導，在卡達當局居間協調並爭取後，敘利亞綁匪廿四日釋放二○一二年在敘利亞失蹤至今的美國記者柯迪斯。總部設在美國的「保護記者協會」表示，在敘利亞失蹤的記者大約廿人，其中許多人研判是被激進組織「伊斯蘭國」綁架。（路透24日電）
