如果勝負已分，領先球隊在讀秒階段，通常不會進攻，只要順順把時間拖完就好。但76人Evan Turner「違反行規」，竟然在只剩5秒、領先5分時，在沒人防守的情況下，360度轉身爆扣，猶如羞辱落後的湖人。

更糟的是，這場比賽是在湖人主場進行。

「我以為還有10到15秒，」Turner說，「那時我沒想那麼多，直到灌籃後，看到只剩下0.4秒，這才發現我做錯事了。」

既然知道錯了，當然得趕快道歉，「比賽結束、兩隊握手時，我向湖人球員道歉，」Turner說，「大家都是大人了，沒有人跟我抱怨，所以我想，沒什麼好擔心的。」

也許湖人隊真的不太在意Turner的爆扣，有其他更值得紫金大軍關注的事，他們傷兵不斷，戰力失調，輸掉那場比賽後，已經吞下5連敗。
