大陸國務院辦公廳公布2014年部分節假日安排通知，其中春節和十一假期均透過調休形成7天長假；與以往不同的是，明年7天春節假日為初一到初七，不包含除夕。

具體安排為，1月1日元旦放假1天，1月31日至2月6日春節放假調休共7天；除夕(1月30日)不放假，1月26日(星期日)、2月8日(星期六)上班。

4月5日清明節放假，4月7日(星期一)補休；5月1日至3日勞動節放假調休共3天，5月4日(星期日)上班；6月2日端午節放假、與週末連休；9月8日中秋節放假、與週末連休。

10月1日至7日大陸國慶節(十一假期)放假調休共7天，9月28日(星期日)、10月11日(星期六)上班。
