近來唐從聖、歐弟、王思佳、卜學亮等綜藝咖前仆後繼地發專輯，令曾發個人專輯卻慘賠的錦雯感慨：「是我給他們的信心嗎？」她說，當時她堅持發片，有兩家企業贊助200萬，媽媽也拿房子抵押貸款，「壓片3000張，賣不到1500，到現在還欠債150萬！」

她說，錦繡二重唱拆夥後，她想發個人專輯，但老公反對，罵發片是笨蛋，說她肯定賠錢，所以一毛都不幫忙，果真被他料中，１年多來她常常因欠債壓力睡不著，老公不借她錢還債，要她為自己負責，還很慶幸當初沒有一起撩落去，否則兩人都喝西北風。她只能想辦法跟朋友調錢。

她不敢再做歌手夢，專心拍戲、上通告，但拍戲收入不多也不穩，打算開製作公司做節目。昔日搭檔琇琴戲約不斷，最近還在原民台主持歌唱節目，她也不敢發片，「主持可以結合唱歌興趣，已經很棒了。」
