成大教師會 籲校方道歉

（中央社記者楊思瑞台南20日電）成功大學教師會今天召開會員大會，針對近日因校園廣場命名引起的紛擾，呼籲學校道歉，並盼各界尊重學術自由及大學自治。

成大在去年11月舉辦校內新廣場命名活動，經票選後由「南榕廣場」得到最高票；事後傳出校方認為名稱太泛政治化未被認同，引發學生社團不滿。

成大光復校區門口招牌的「光復」中文字樣，在1月8日深夜遭人拆除，拆除者更拍攝相片張貼上網，指稱奉行校方校園去政治化的訓示；校方報警處理，至今未找到嫌疑人。成大在15日召開的校務會議中，決議取消新廣場命名。

校方昨天又發現位於光復校區內中正堂側門的建物標示牌遭人破壞，中正堂的「正」字被拆掉，隨後報警處理。

成大教師會在今天召開會員大會後發表聲明指出，學校對校園命名訂有明確法規，此次命名活動之初，行政部門沒有向學生會完整說明相關法規，造成事後諸多紛擾，學校應公開道歉。

聲明中指出，對於近日破壞學校財產之行為，教師會認為不可，犯案者需要思考行為正當性；「大學應受學術自由之保障，並在法律規定範圍內享用自治權」，希望社會各界尊重學術自由及大學自治。1030120
