英鎊跌到一年多低點 升息時間恐延後

英鎊兌美元12日貶至一年多來最低，英國央行升息預期被澆冷水，而美國聯準會（Fed）則在準備升息。

英鎊兌美元在紐約收盤貶值0.9%至1.5779美元，稍早一度跌抵1.5776美元，為2013年9月以來最低。英格蘭銀行（央行）12日下修明、後兩年的經濟成長預測，並表示通膨可能在未來幾個月內降至1%以下，暗示央行不會很快升息，並凸顯出歐元區減緩拖累英國經濟。

歐元兌美元也貶值0.3%至1.2438美元。德國央行總裁、也是歐洲央行管理委員會委員懷德曼（Jens Weidmann）說，歐元區的通膨維持在低點的時間會更長。

衡量美元兌主要貨幣表現的美元指數上漲0.3%至87.829點。日圓兌美元自七年谷底翻升，收盤漲0.3%至115.49日圓，兌歐元升值0.6%至143.64日圓。

日本官員淡化有關提前選舉的猜測，提前選舉可能會增強對首相安倍晉三前所未見刺激政策的支持。
